Summary[edit]

Description Model of 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive of the erstwhile Newfoundland Railway displayed in the Railway Coastal Museum in St. John's. And no, that's not two models, that is just one model reflecting on the glass. Now 228 is probably the serial number of the model, but this engine is actually of class 190. Built by Baldwin Loco Works in 1920, this engine was already performing inferior services in the 1940s. Re-classed and re-numbered J-8-a and 590 respectively when Canadian National took over, this engine was scrapped around 1957-58. (St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, June 2015)
