Description
Żurawie pływające wykorzystywane są do różnych prac przeładunkowych, hydrotechnicznych (np. budowa falochronów, nabrzeży portowych), stoczniowych oraz ratowniczych (np. podnoszenie zatopionych jednostek). Dźwigi mogą mieć własny napęd umożliwiający samodzielne pływanie i manewrowanie. Jeśli go nie mają, muszą korzystać z pomocy holowników lub pchaczy. Są także wyposażone w rozbudowany system kotwiczny i cumowniczy.
