English: Millennium Beacon. Millennium beacon on Morridge (alongside the Mermaid carpark). Hen Cloud (SK0061) in the background.
The beacon was one of a chain of 1,300 across the UK lit to mark the new Millennium. It is reputed that the site has been used for a beacon across the centuries. |
