Cindy Ortiz, a military working dog handler from the 100th Military Working Dog Detachment out of Miesav, Germany, after awarding her the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the NATO Medal for her service as part of NATO’s Kosovo Force mission, during a ceremony Oct. 13, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. “I am really grateful to MNBG-E for the opportunities and experiences that helped me to grow in my career while deployed to Kosovo,” said Ortiz, who will soon redeploy to her home station in Germany.
