Ralph Johnson (right), the commander and command sergeant major for the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team and Multinational Battle Group-East, present end-of-tour awards to Sgt. Earl Thomas, a military working dog handler from the 525th Military Working Dog Detachment out of Miesav, Germany, during a ceremony held Oct. 13, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The awards included the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and NATO Medal. “It has been a pleasure working with all the forces part of the Kosovo Force rotations,” said Thomas, who is scheduled to return to his home station.
