J. Henry. Some of the circumstances attending its erection have been novelized by Rex Beach in "The Iron Trail." C.R. American Art

The Miles Glacier Bridge was completed in 1911. Rex Beach wrote "The Iron Trail" in 1913. The postcard is dated ca. 1913 based on this information..
