| Description |
English: Midland Counties Dairies, manager's house & stables, Mill st, Walsall. My grandfather, Charles Frederick Fletcher with my grandmother Alice and their five children lived here in the 1920's as manager of Midland Counties Dairies. The stables were at the rear of the house and accessed through the large double doors seen in the photograph. The milk dreys were loaded here for delivery around Walsall. 'Daisy' was the children's favourite horse. |
