Deutsch: Mettmann, die Elberfelder Straße östlich Obmettmann 4, hier als Teil der Bundesstraße 7, im östlichen Teil einer markanten Links-Rechts-Kombination beim Verlassen einer Senke, in der gerade der Heresbach gequert wurde. Eine noch aus der Vorkriegszeit stammende, vermutlich auf die Landstraßenzeit des 19. Jahrhunderts zurückgehende Straßenführung einer einst wichtigen Fernstraße mit einstelliger Bundesstraßen-Ordnungsnummer, die aber durch das dichte Bundesautobahnen-Netz stark an Bedeutung verloren hat und zur Aufnahme großer Fahrzeugmengen auch gar nicht in der Lage wäre. Ihre Bedeutung ist heute nur noch regional. |
