Summary[edit]
DescriptionMercedes Mast Truck (3475473366).jpg |
Airship Ventures had the hardest time getting the mast truck into the country. The Zeppelin was easy in comparison. There was no precedent for this truck, and after a regulatory run around, they discovered that the chassis was refurbished and qualified as an antique. That allowed them to bypass all the red tape, and the truck was allowed to drive out to dock with the Zeppelin nose for landing. We used this truck on our return as the more modern MAN truck was stuck in traffic and we beat it back from Monterey. |
