Deutsch: Dies ist der Deutschlandweit letzte (von ehemals fünf gebauten Exemplaren) in Betrieb befindliche Mercedes-Benz Ü80 (Prototyp des O407)(Stand Juli 2011).
(Übrigens ist der "O405"-Aufkleber über der Fronttür nicht richtig, da dieser Ü80 ja eigentlich der Prototyp des O407 ist. Der Aufkleber wurde wohl mal nachträglich an dem Fahrzeug angebracht.)1982 erschienen von Mercedes die ersten Ü 80 genannten Überlandprototypen des VÖV-II-Busses. Der abgebildete Bus begann seine Erprobungslaufbahn 1982 bei den Verkehrsbetrieben Hamburg-Holstein als Wagen 8238 und läuft heute noch bei Firma Drügemüller aus Beckum. Mercedes-Benz ließ seine S-80- und Ü-80-Prototypen übrigens bei den Fahrzeugwerken Falkenried bauen. |
