Русский: Федор Петрович Литке был русским военно-морским офицером, географом и исследователем. В 1826-1829 годах он, в роли капитана корабля Сенявин, успешно завершил свое второе кругосветное плаванье. Во время этого путешествия он составил карту западного побережья Берингова моря. Впоследствии он опубликовал на французском и русском языках восемь томов результатов своих исследований, которые включали в себя многочисленные карты и схемы. Эта русская карта середины XIX века, выпущенная Морским министерством, основана на одной из карт Литке. На ней изображены отмели, указания глубин в саженях и якорные стоянки. De 1826 à 1829, en tant que capitaine du navire Seniavin, il réalisa son deuxième tour du monde. Pendant ce voyage, il dressa la carte des côtes occidentales de la mer de Béring. Il publia ensuite, en français et en russe, un compte rendu de ses explorations, en huit volumes, qui comprenait un grand nombre de cartes et de plans. Cette carte russe du milieu du XIXe siècle, produite par le ministère de la Marine, est basée sur l'une des cartes de Litke. Elle montre les bancs de sable, les profondeurs indiquées en sazhens et les mouillages. Le relief est indiqué par estompage et les hauteurs sont indiquées en pieds. Mer de Béring; Océan Pacifique English: Fedor Petrovich Litke was a Russian naval officer, geographer, and explorer. In 1826-29, as captain of the ship Seniavin, he completed his second circumnavigation of the world. On this voyage, he mapped the western coastline of the Bering Sea. He subsequently published, in French and Russian, an eight-volume account of his explorations that included numerous maps and plans. This mid-19th-century Russian map, produced by the Ministry of Marine, is based on one of Litke’s maps. It shows sandbars, notations of depth in sazhens, and anchorages. Relief is shown by shading, and notations of height are given in feet. The supplemental maps at the top are of the mouth of the Anadyr' River and the Seniavin Strait.

Durante esta viagem, ele mapeou a costa ocidental do mar de Bering. Posteriormente ele publicou em Francês e em Russo, um oitavo volume das suas explorações que incluíam vários mapas e planos. Este mapa russo do século 19, produzido pelo Ministro da Marinha, baseou-se em um dos mapas de Litke. Nele estão bancos de areia, noções de profundez em sazhens, e fixações.
