Mardi Gras Day 1919, Canal Street, New Orleans

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Mardi Gras Day 1919, Canal Street, New Orleans. Celebrations were abbreviated that year; formal parades had been canceled as World War I was still ongoing late the previous year, and the "Spanish Flu" pandemic was ongoing. None the less, some costumed and masked revelers celebrated in the streets.
