English: Memorials, church of St Deinst, Llangarron The higher memorial records the names of those who lost their lives during World War II, the lower records a sad incident which happened in 1944. On 7th January that year, a twin-seater Mosquito, piloted by Flight Lieutenant F. Jolly, with Australian observer/navigator Flying Officer WD Langworthy, DFC, on board, exploded in mid-air over Langstone Court, Llangarron, killing both crew members. |
