English: Commonwealth War Graves Commission style gravestone in King Edward old parish kirkyard, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, of the 8th Laird of Craigston, who served in three wars. It is inscribed: "M B Pollard Urquhart, Ordinary Seaman, RN... H.M.S "Bacchante", formerly Captain, Royal Army Service Corps, 28th November 1940 age 61. 8th Laird of Craigston, died on active service in his third war." |
