Medieval Humberware pottery
Description
English: Four sherds of (probable) medieval humberware pottery dating to the late 14th century. The sherds are quite small and are made of an orangey fabric containing small dark inclusions. The pieces are quite thick and may have come from drinking jugs or jars. These objects were crudely made and roughly finished and had a widespread use. The combined weight is 24g.
