the mcQueen symbol, or 'the elle signal' is a combination of 4: the (Alexander) McQueen logo, McDonald's golden arches, and if you turn the logo upside down, Wanderer Automobile (similar to Wonder Woman's symbol); and the Q looks like a fruit on a branch, with which l refer to the peach in Roald Dhal's James & the Giant Peach. (this was formerly compared to the stylized 'o' in the Whole Foods logo, but now that seems trite. 07/14/2015) the logo covers food, clothing, and transportation. these are not all American companies, but they are all companies that are successes within the industrialized economy.

as for the final necessity, the home/ shelter: a home is not a fixed place; it is when people think that they can insulate themselves that the world begins to fall apart. i am and have always been a city person, i have parked myself in high rises, houses, commercial buildings, warehouses, trees, caves, beaches, boats, land vehicles in different parts of the world. what i have concluded is that the entire world is our home. this is made evident to me through my experiences in foreign countries. there is always a place for me even if i have no $, squat, steal. most people recognize that humans have basic rights, and though some people will make it seem otherwise, not having money is not a crime.

home ownership is an unnecessary burden for many people. stability is desirable sometimes but not always. instead of blind loyalty, one should always exercise the choice to be with people who sustain them (and whom they sustain.) that's what makes a home, not a fixed place hogged by a fixed group. as the climate changes, it is mobility and flexibility that counts. www.flickr.com/photos/elleko/2439122996/ (in google images, search: McQueen symbol)
