| Description |
English: McCracken Memorial Presbyterian Church, Belfast. On the Malone Road and designed by Hobart and Heron (1934 according to the datestone and 1932 in the architectural guide). At first it seems to represent the traditional style but the tower (left), reminiscent of a ventilation shaft on a London Underground station, grabs your attention saying "The times they are a-changing". After WWII it became a case of "In with the new" 83206. |
