| Description |
Français : Garçon d'écurie, fils de Jean-Baptiste GAYTON et Jeanne GELLY. Recruté à Clermont-Ferrand (département du Puy-de-Dôme, france), classe 1912, matricule 1407. Engagé pour 3 ans 04/04/1913. Brigadier le 24/04/1913. Blessé le 03/05/1918 au Mont Kemmel (Belgique). Pension de retraité 3e classe le 14/11/1918 par la commission de réforme de Bordeaux pour "amputation avant-bras gauche". Rayé le 25/05/1919, se retire à Egliseneuve-d'Entraigues (département du Puy-de-Dôme, France). Croix de guerre avec palme, médaille militaire. Résistant, arrêté par les Allemands le 03/04/1944, il décède en déportation le 15/12/1944 à Bergen-Belsen (Allemagne). "Mort pour la France".
