English: Matthew Dow, Scottish-born Seattle, Washington, USA contractor and builder. Lived in Texas before Seattle. He was the builder for the Governor's Mansion in Olympia, Washington and for Seattle's Lincoln High School. A 1909 ad for his firm can be found at File:Argus - A.Y.P. ed. - Page 68.jpg. I believe he's the same Matthew Dow who was mayor of Ballard in 1895. |
