Deutsch: Maschine zum Einsetzen von weissen Spitzen. (in Pelz-Felle. Zum Imitieren von Silberfuchs durch preiswertere Fellarten zu einer Zeit, als Silberfuchsfelle Höchstpreise erzielten) Das Einsetzen von weissen Spitzen wurde anfänglich in einer Weise bewerkstelligt indem man das Fell mit der linken Hand gebrochen hielt und mit der rechten die Nadel führte, oder die Spitzen in dem Grund einklebte. Da dieses aber eine mühevolle, langwierige Arbeit verursachte, wurden verschiedene kleinere Maschinen erdacht um das Fell aufzuspannen und mittels Klammern die Haare auseinander zu halten. Dadurch wird die linke Hand frei und das Einnähen oder Einkleben geht bedeutend rascher und wird regelmässiger. Das Einnähen geschieht mit einer ganz schwachen Nadel die zunächst in das Leder eingeschoben wird, dann wird das Haar eingefädelt, auf die richtige Länge gezogen und zwei- bis dreimal in das Leder eingenäht. |
