Nederlands: Marktdag in Kortrijk. Gezicht op een stadsplein in Kortrijk. Een groep toehoorders heeft zich verzameld rond een podium waarop een man viool speelt terwijl een straatzanger met een stok naar een roldoek met afbeeldingen wijst. Rechts een man met een kruiwagen, links laadt een man manden op een ezel. Aan het plein een café met terras.
Français : “Jour de marché à Courtrai„. – Vue de la Grand'place de la ville. Un groupe de spectateurs s'est réuni autour d'une scène où un homme joue du violon tandis qu'un chanteur de rue pointe avec un bâton un rouleau de toile. A droite un homme avec une brouette, à gauche un homme charge des paniers sur un âne. Sur la place se trouve un café avec une terrasse.
