COLUMBUS, Ohio (Dec. 16, 2016) Marines with Marine Barracks Washington stand guard during the repose of Sen. John H. Glenn, Jr., at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 16, 2016. Having flown 149 combat missions in World War II and the Korean War, John Glenn became the first man to orbit the Earth in 1962.
