English: SEATTLE - (From left to right) Officer Snook the Sea Partners mascot, Petty Officer 1st Class Myron Stein, Mariner Moose, Rear Adm. John Currier, Commanding Officer Coast Guard District Thirteen and his wife Mary Jane Currier, pose for a shot on Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners, here Friday night. The Mariners celebrated Coast Guard Appreciation Night with pre-game festivities including the color guard and a first pitch thrown by the District Thirteen admiral and the Enlisted Person of the Year. Members from Coast Guard Seattle Recruiting as well as Sea Partners, an environmental education and outreach program focused on communities at large to develop community awareness of maritime pollution issues and to improve compliance with marine environmental protection laws and regulations, provided tables on the concourse to interact with fans, pass out information and free Coast Guard memorabilia.
