English:
Maria column. Baroque limestone statue 1755 work. The oldest statue of the city. Restored by Hunor Egri. Reinstalled in 2000. Latin inscription on its base. Reliefs on is base - Ipolyi Arnold Square, Törökszentmiklós, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, Hungary.

Szűz Mária-szobor (Avatás restaurálás után: 2000, Avatás 1755, Egri Hunor restaurátor, közreműködő, barokk mészkő). Plébániatemplom előtti téren állott, majd a két világháború között a plébánia kertjébe került. A szobor talapzatának felirata: 'MULIER/AMICTA SOLE/ET LUNA SUB/PEDIBUS EIUS/ET IN CAPITE/EIUS CORONA/STALARUM DUO/DECIM/APOC 12' A szobor környezetét, a templomtér rekonstrukciójával együtt alakították ki, a 2000. évi millenniumi ünnepségre. Markot Imre építészmérnök, akkori megbízott városi főépítész tervezte meg a Mária-szobor elhelyezését egy bb. 3m átmérőjű, 3 lépcsős, köralakú talapzaton, a hozzá készült kb. fél méter körítő-fallal, melyben jeleket helyeztek el. Hét pontot jelenítettek meg kövekből, mellyel a Mária-kultuszban és a magyarság történetében fellelhető hetességre kívántak utalni.[1] - A négyzetes hasáb talapzat minden oldalán dombormű található Szent István felajánlja a koronát, szakállas mezítlábas alak pálmafával galambbal, címerrel - Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok megye, Törökszentmiklós, Ipolyi Arnold tér.
