Description
Deutsch: Manuskripthalter. Aus zwei Teilen bestehendes Gerät des Buchdruckers zum Befestigen des Manuskripts beim Handsatz. Auf dem an den Rand des Setzkastens gespießten Tenakel befestigt der Handsetzer die Manuskriptseite so mit Hilfe des gabelförmigen Divisoriums, daß er die zu setzende Zeile beim Aufreihen der Typen in der Druckzeile leicht im Auge behalten kann.Mitte 19.Jahrhundert, Focke-Museum Bremen.
