HEHDERSOflS HEW BUSH liUVIR BEAH- No novelty that has ever been sent out has received as wide distribution, in so short a time, as Hendersons Bush Lima. A few yearsago the entire stock of this variety was growing on an obscure plantation in Virginia; to-day it will be found in almost every garden onthis continent. This has been due to its great merit, which the public were quick to recognize. One of the most valuable character-istics of Hendersons Bush Lima is its extreme earliness, as it comes in from two to three weeks ahead of any of the other climbing orBush Limas, thus supplying us with a delicious vegetable at a time when the garden is somewhat bare, filling in, as it does, the gap be-tween Peas and the Pole Limas. The small size of Hendersons Bush Lima, which at first was urged as an objection to it, has proved oneof the strongest points in its favor, as the public, rightly enough, prefer small beans, always associating great size in Lima beanswith coarser quality.
