Summary[edit]
DescriptionManoderecha.svg |
English: Illustration of the right hand rule a process for determining the direction of the magnetic field created by an electric current passing through a wire. If the conductor is grasped by the right hand so the thumb points in the direction of the conventional current (flow of positive charge) in the wire, the fingers circling the wire will point in the direction of the magnetic field lines. |
