English: The grand entrance gate to the Manipuri Rajbari cultural heritage site is decorated with the motifs and relief arts of "Aum/Om" (Hindu sacred symbol), Kanglasha / Nongshaba dragon lion (sacred to Sanamahism), Manipuri Ras Leela classical dancers including Krishna and Gopis (sacred to Hinduism), a pair of Meitei Nongsha ("Meitei lions", symbolising valour and fearlessness of Meitei people), two Pung Cholom drummers (classical Meitei drummers), and two men depicted as welcoming the devotees/visitors. |
