English: Manchester skyline from former Red Bank carriage sidings. A view of Manchester's ever higher skyline taken from the former carriage sidings just NE of Manchester Victoria station. Until the 1990s, the only high-rise blocks visible from here were the CIS building which appears highest in the photo and the Arndale Centre tower just to the CIS tower's right. Compare with photographs from the same spot in 1988 820193 and 1991 829501. |
