Description
English: Photo of a plaster cast of the Mammoth Ivory Female head from Dolni Vestonice Known as the Dolni Vestonice Venus XV. A plaster cast is whitened and shows a morphology better than an original. A sculpture with an height of 45 mm shows probably the first portrait of a woman head made of Mammoth's bone. Locality: Dolní Věstonice, Gravettian culture.[1]
Čeština: Fotografie odlitku hlavy ženy z mamutoviny. Potrét obličeje ženy postižené ochrnutím. Odlitek je vybělený a zobrazuje morfologii lépe než originál. Výška 45 mm. Jedná se pravděpodobně o nejstraší portrétní plastiku z mamutí kosti. Místo nálezu: Dolní Věstonice, Gravettien (kultura lovců mamutů z období Gravettienu).[1]
