Mammea americana

English: One and a half mammee apples, showing the flesh and seed. Picture taken by Fibonacci.

The flesh was so strongly adhered to the seed, I had to use a knife to destroy the other half of the mamey on the right, so that the inside could be seen. Some stab marks are still visible on it, as well as some bits of flesh I couldn't scrape from the seed.
