The flesh was so strongly adhered to the seed, I had to use a knife to destroy the other half of the mamey on the right, so that the inside could be seen. Some stab marks are still visible on it, as well as some bits of flesh I couldn't scrape from the seed.
La carne estaba tan fuertemente adherida a la pepa que tuve que usar un cuchillo para destruir la otra mitad del mamey de la derecha, para que el interior pudiera verse. Aún se le ven marcas de puñaladas, así como pedazos de pulpa que no pude arrancar de la pepa.
