Description
English: As seen from the upper deck of Sahlen Field in June 2021: one of the oldest extant ghost signs in Buffalo is the advertisement for Malta-Vita on the east side wall of the building housing the Union Pub on Swan Street, uncovered in 2020 after the demolition of the Swan Parking Ramp next door. Manufactured by the Battle Creek Pure Food Company and marketed as "The Perfect Food", Malta-Vita was a wheat flake cereal sweetened with barley malt syrup that was on the market from 1902 until 1916.
