Description
English: Stop and listen... can you hear them munching leaves?! The forest tent caterpillar, Malacosoma disstria, has arrived. They periodically infest aspen and many other tree species over large areas of northern Minnesota. The caterpillars are commonly, but mistakenly, called 'armyworms'.
