Photograph of Main Street, looking north, Riverside, California, ca.1905. Horse-drawn vehicles are parked along both sides of the dirt street, while others travel up and down the street. The street is busy with pedestrian, bicyclist, and horse-drawn carriage traffic. Most of the buildings are commercial and about three-stories high, with the exception of a dome tower at right, which stands about four-stories tall. Utility poles line both sides of the street.; Legible signs include: "Cooper Bros music store", "Tailoring, dye works, 955, N.S. Wood", "M.T. Cunniff, sanitary plumbing, jobbing of all kind", "[...]d rooms", "[...]ella [...]gars", "Ed Herwick", "Great American Importing Tea Co.", "drugs", "D.S. Stores", "The Enterprise", "automobiles", "garage, 948", "Riverside cycle and sporting goods store".
