Description
Italiano: Statua lignea della Madonna della Provvidenza di Tossicia o Madonna Sdraiata, opera eseguita fra la fine del XIV secolo e i primi del XV secolo. Quest'immagine è stata scattata in occasione dell'esposizione dell'effigie mariana presso la chiesa di Sant'Antonio di Tossicia nella Giornata FAI di Primavera del 24 marzo 2013. La statua è abitualmente custodita presso il Santuario di San Gabriele dell'Addolorata di Isola del Gran Sasso d'Italia, in provincia di Teramo, Abruzzo.
Un sentito ringraziamento per lo scatto di questa fotografia a don Dino Mancini, parroco tossiciano, e a Franco Tarquini, sindaco del Comune di Tossicia.
