Français : Le delta du Mackenzie, dans les territoires du Nord-Ouest du Canada. Il constitue l'embouchure du fleuve Mackenzie dans l'océan Arctique ; il est situé à environ 120 mk à l'ouest de la ville d'Inuvik. Il se déploie en un labyrinthe de sédiments, de lacs et chenaux sinueux, évoluant au gré des crues saisonnières, alimenté par la fonte des glaciers. On distingue le chenal Est, qui apporte de grandes quantités de sédiments, formant un « delta inversé » à l'intérieur de l'un des lacs. Site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
