On Back: Macdonald Hotel. The Macdonald Hotel is owned by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway and was erected at the cost of $1,500,000. It was opened in July, 1915, and is one of the palatial hotels of Western Canada. It is situated in a commanding location over looking the North Saskatchewan River.
