Summary[edit]

Description
English: Second shot of the western edges of the Block Island Sound as seen from the top of the Montauk Point Lighthouse over Montauk Point State Park in Montauk Point, New York. Shots like this were taken from where original fresnel lens was mounted, which I learned was off-limits for tourists on November 23, 2019. However the Montauk Point Lighthouse Committee does allow them to climb the steps leading to this area until a certain point. Looking back on this, I was able to take pictures from this part of the lighthouse without breaking any rules both in 2008 and in 2019, because I'm a little taller than average.
