Description
English: Picture from a series of photographs from the recreational hiking area at Moutmarka in the Færder National Park on the southwest of the island Tjøme on the western side of the Outer Oslo Fjord, Norway.
  • The photos were taken at the beach area along the coastal trail, facing the entrance to the Tønsberg Fjord.
  • A late afternoon (early evening) in October.
  • View to the west etc, overlooking the archipelago and the coastal landscape:
    • Hills and rocky outcrops, islets and skerries carved by the movements of the ice during the last Ice Age, shaped into a rocky coast in a north-south direction, with gentle slopes to the north and cliffs to the south, featuring cracks, crevices, and stones.
    • Shoreline/seashore with bare rocks, boulders, cobbles, pebbles, beaches, seaweed, low, partly wind-shaped coastal vegetation, etc.
  • Strong winds (with occasional gusts of storm?) creating water waves, a turbulent sea, ocean surface waves, sea spray, foam, and wet rocks.
  • Warm light from the low sun gradually setting in the west (strong backlight), blue sky with some clouds

  • Bildene ble tatt fra strandområdet ved kyststien ved Skjælva, mellom Taradynga i nord og Skåebukta i sør ut mot innseilinga til Tønsbergfjorden i vest
  • En sein ettermiddag (tidlig kveld) i oktober
  • Utsikt over skjærgården og kystlandskapet som blant annet viser:
    • Koller og knauser, holmer og skjær som er skurt av isens bevegelser under siste istid og formet som svaberg i retningen nord-sør, med svakt skrånende helninger mot nord og fall mot sør, med sprekker, kløfter og steiner.
    • Rullesteinsstrender, tang i fjæra, lav kystvegetasjon.
  • Kraftig vind (mild sønnavind med enkelte storm i kastene?) som gir bølger, opprørt hav (urolig vann og havoverflate), sjøsprøyt, skum og våte steiner
  • Varmt lys fra lav sol som etter hvert går ned i vest (sterkt motlys), klar himmel med enkelte skyer.
