Voted: that this Bank tender to Gov. Andrew inthis hour of our Countrys trial the sum of fifty thousanddollars for the use of the Commonwealth. The foregoing represents but a small part of therecorded acts of this Institution in its past, showing thatit has been something of a factor in matters of City andState and also in National affairs. Our new Bank building occupying as it does themost prominent business corner in the city is a beautifulstructure from any point of view, an ornament to thecity and a tribute to the progressiveness of its founders.
