Description
English: Damage to the south bridge of the Salzbachtal Bridge in Wiesbaden, 3.7.2021.

A damaged roller bearing caused the superstructure to collapse onto the pier, damaging both and causing concrete parts to fall. The entire bridge has since been in danger of collapse and is to be blown up.

At the top right, the parked bridge underside equipment, which is no longer allowed to be moved due to the damage.
Deutsch: Schadstelle an der Südbrücke der Salzbachtalbrücke, 3.7.2021, mit der hier an dieser Stelle gesperrten Mainzer Straße in Wiesbaden.

Durch ein beschädigtes Rolllager ist der Überbau auf den Pfeiler gestürzt, wobei beide beschädigt wurden und Betonteile herabstürzten. Die gesamte Brücke ist seither einsturzgefährdet und soll gesprengt werden.

Rechts oben das abgestellte Brückenuntersichtgerät (Lkw), das wegen des Schadens nicht mehr bewegt werden darf. Weiter stadteinwärts die Brücke der Eisenbahnstrecke Ländchesbahn über die Mainzer Straße zwischen dem Grün der Bäume zu sehen.
