Description
English: Members of «B» Battery, 1st Battalion, 109th Field Artillery calibrate the M777A2 in Iraq in March 2009, ensuring the weapon's accuracy and "dusting off the cobwebs" by re-familiarizing themselves with the howitzer. The battalion is comprised of four units: Headquarters Battery in Wilkes-Barre; Battery A in Plymouth; Battery B in Nanticoke; and Company G, 228th Support Battalion, also in Wilkes-Barre. It has won five prestigious awards in 2009.
