Description
Deutsch: München, Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Forsten (Ludwigstraße 2). In den 1930er Jahren wurden die einstigen vier Einzelgebäude abgerissen. Hier entstand 1938 bis 1940 das Zentralministerium, das das Finanz- und das Innenministerium sowie die Bayerische Staatskanzlei aufnehmen sollte und Amtssitz von NSDAP-Gauleiter und Reichsverteidigungskommissar Paul Giesler wurde. Seit 1984 erinnert im Innenhof eine Gedenktafel an die hier von Giesler am 28. und 29. April 1945 veranlasste Erschießung von Mitgliedern der Freiheitsaktion Bayern. 1946 bis 1958 diente der Bau als Generalkonsulat der USA, anschließend zog das Bayerische Landwirtschaftsministerium ein.
