Description
Español: Máscaras de fauno y un viejo de la Necrópolis de Puig des Molins. Se ha planteado si son unas ofrendas tipo exvotos u orantes, o si representan a dioses del panteón feno-púnico o griego. Expuestas en el Museo Arqueológico Nacional de España.

Descripción de las máscaras, de arriba a abajo:

  • Máscara de fauno, con bigotes y larga barba. Encontrada en alguna de las tumbas de inhumación de la fase púnica de la necrópolis de Puig des Molins (Ibiza), hecha en serie, a molde y en arcilla, siguiendo modelos de Sicilia o Cartago. Siglo V a. C. Nº Inv. 1923/60/459.
  • Máscara de terracota que representa un viejo con las cuencas de los ojos huecas. Es de color verde y esta hecha a molde siguiendo modelos de Sicilia o Cartago. Altura: 7 cm; longitud: 13 cm; anchura máxima: 9 cm. Siglo IV-III a. C.
