Description
Català: Màquina de tren al Parc de l’Estació Vella, a Igualada. Màquina del model Berga fabricada per l'empresa alemanya Krauss Locomotive Fabrik-Krauss & Co. l'any 1896. Va ser la número 7 part d’un lot de vuit màquines adquirit per l’antiga companyia gestora de la línia Manresa-Berga i va ser batejada com a Balsareny. Posteriorment, quan l’empresa s’integra a la Companyia General de Ferrocarrils Catalans passa a lluir el número 27. Als anys 1960 és retirada del servei i l’any 1973 és instal·lada com a monument històric a l’Estació Nova d'Igualada. Finalment, el 1989, és traslladada al Parc de l’Estació Vella, on es troba en aquesta foto de 2012. Posteriorment, el 2014, fou restaurada.
