Summary[edit]

Description
English: Just over the dune on the horizon from Lake Michigan, whidh was three feet above normal, Lower Herring Outlet has an outlet to the big lake and is fed by a creek. This flooding is the first time since 1986 that it has overtopped its shore and spread into the surrounding properties. People lost 20 feet of land from shore, inland.
