Summary[edit]

Description
English: Extreme low tide in Elliott Bay, Seattle, Washington. Taken from the shore of Jack Block Park, this is a panoramic view of the West Seattle shore of the bay out to Duwamish Head (at right). The beach in the foreground is part of Jack Block Park, though most of this is usually under water. The two barges (the one at left is the decommissioned single-hulled fuel barge Hui Mona) are moored next to the remnant of Pier 2, where vehicles used to be shipped to Alaska. To the right of that is some working waterfront, then Salty's at Alki (which is really not very near Alki), Seacrest Park, and Duwamish Head (plus, of course, a lot of houses and apartment buildings on the inland side of Harbor Avenue).
