English: This statue by the Australian sculptor Sir Bertram Mackennal was unveiled in 1931. Perhaps the last great Victorian viceroy Lord Curzon's life ended in disappointment. Churchill wrote, "The morning had been golden; the noontide bronze; and the evening lead".
