| Description |
English: Looking south from Spy Crags The free face of Spy Crags is quite low, but the crags occupy a commanding position atop a hill in the midst of a wide tract of wet grass moorland, overlooking the upper River Irthing. The wood in the middle distance is Stowerhill Plantation NY6974 whilst to the right is a tongue of improved farmland NY6874 behind Lampert Farm. The River Irthing can just be seen to the right deeply incised into the plateau. |
