English: London Kings Cross Thameslink railway station (site) Opened in 1863 as "Kings Cross Metropolitan" on what is now the London Underground, this station became part of the Thameslink route in 1983. It closed in 2007 when it was replaced by an expanded St. Pancras station complex. View from Pentonville Road, 2 years after closure. The flat-roofed entrance building was constructed around 1981. |
